When I first started, I tried to convince my parents to buy me a camera so I could pursue a career in photography, but they thought it was a waste of money, not a serious path. So I saved up money myself and borrowed some from my brother to buy my first camera.
At that time, I only knew how to take photos, but during the process, I realized that filming could convey emotions much better. So I taught myself how to film and edit, working and correcting as I went along. The biggest turning point was in 2021 when I followed my older brother to Saigon to take on jobs, doing all sorts of things, big and small. And currently, I continue to pursue this work thanks to the help of many people.
If you ask me what guided me throughout those years, the answer would always be the same: believing that I could do it, and never giving up. That alone has taken me quite a long way.
Hopefully, this story will also give some motivation to someone who is starting from scratch, just like I did before.
