Those in the hair-loving community are probably familiar with the name Co Zan, but few people know the interesting story behind his journey into the 'hair game'. It all started with a strong belief in himself:
“I would compare this story to the journey of a carp crossing the Dragon Gate.
The story begins during the COVID season, when the whole country was forced to stay home to ensure safety, I, like many others, just stayed home playing games and surfing social media. Then one day, I accidentally came across a hair styling tutorial video that, in my opinion, was really bad. I sent it to a friend who played with me and commented: “Is there no one here who does good men’s hair?” And at that moment, a thought flashed through my mind:
“Why don’t I give it a try, who knows I might become famous in this niche?” And my journey started from that random thought.
The first months of creating a channel were really a challenge, the following was very slow, and the views were also sluggish without any breakthrough. I myself was also a problem at that time. While everyone around me was full of energy and confident in expressing themselves, I was not like that, I was afraid of the lens, and lacked confidence when I had to share about something. The climax was when the brother I texted before went viral, and I considered stopping.
But maybe I should thank myself at that time for not stopping but steadfastly moving forward.
Thanks to that belief, I went viral and gradually gained a bit of fame like today, being invited to events and being booked by brands. From someone who was extremely shy about communication, shy about presenting and introverted, I spoke more, expressed my opinions more even though I was still introverted.
I became a version that even my parents and wife said: “ I don't think it can be done. ”
Up to this moment, I can confidently say that when I believe in myself, I can definitely do it. That belief is the strongest and most lasting belief I have ever had. And that is the reason why I am who I am today, because I believe in myself.”
